ShareTraining seminars provide information you need taught by experts who are passionate about their subjects and great at sharing their knowledge. Our 90-minute seminars come right to the point, but give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions, both during and afterwards.
We provide scheduled seminars at all levels, many as a response to past learners' suggestions. We also provide a number of introductory-level seminars as one-on-one tutorials, arranged to suit your schedule.
Research is the Foundation for All Good Fundraising.
To be successful we need expertise to identify new prospects; knowledge of the latest sources, tools and methods; an understanding of philanthropic and economic trends; and experience in navigating and interpreting complicated or difficult-to-find information.
Learning these skills can take years if one is self-taught. And unlike many other areas in fundraising, resources and the methods used to search them change every single day.
Training at Your Desk
Our online seminars are delivered straight to you in your office or wherever you work. All you need is a standard web browser such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer™ and a telephone. These are live, interactive seminars where you can ask questions and learn in a comfortable setting.
Training to Fit Your Schedule
Our seminars are designed and delivered as 90 minute units – you can sign up for as many as you like. They are normally scheduled to fit a lunchtime or late afternoon slot.
Training to Fit Your Needs
We offer a variety of online seminars and live classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Whether you're a prospect researcher, major gift officer, fundraising manager or one-person development shop, you will find seminars in our curriculum that will give you information you can use.
Training to Fit Your Budget
Conferences are a fantastic way of learning, but many organizations don't have the budget to send someone every year (or any year!). ShareTraining seminars help you keep up-to-date without the added cost of travel and hotels. And several people can attend at once, making the cost-per-person even more affordable.
Talk to your local professional association if you'd like to see ShareTraining seminars offered to your group. Gather together and have a discussion afterwards!
